Message of the founder head of the department

It gives me immense pleasure to know that the final year students of this department are going to publish a souvenir prior to their departure from the department, after the completion of their studies here. Many of them were with us for four years, doing B. Sc. (Hons.) and M. Sc., and only a few had been with us for one or two years, I had, therefore, he oppertunity to know them very closely. This batch of students will be remembered by the department for their very active role in different extramural activities. They arranged the departmental exhibitions in such a nice way that it drew laurels form many people from inside and outside the campus. They took part in educational tours and short tours-cum picnics and all such occasions had been of immense value and sourse of pleasure. Some of them showed great quality of leadership during such occasions and I believe these qualities, if maintained, will lead them successfully in this world of turmoil, worries and anxiety. Apart from these qualities, this batch of students have developed a liking for research, for which many of them worked very hard even after the normal working hours.

They will be with us for about 2 more months. I do hope that after the completion thier degree, they will be provided with suitable jobs in different organisations. I wish them all happiness and prosperity in their future career. at the same time I expect that they will continue to make endeavour to make more studies, because there is no end of learning and it is not possible to obtain it parthenogenetically. I will also expect that our students maintain a high level of sincerity and honesty, and through these qualities coupled with hard work they can derive satisfaction for them as well as for the alma mater and for the society in which they live.

The belong to the Department of Zoology, Rajshahi University and we are proud of them and as such they should not hesitate in future to contact my colleagues and me, for any problem they are confronted with in their professional career. I wish them all happy and long prosperous life.
